Specializing in high-end digital experiences — blending machine intelligence with aesthetic, modern web development.
About Me
I'm Austin Karki, also known as Faceless Ancient, a scholarly explorer at the intersection of machine intelligence, visual perception, and elegant web craftsmanship. My foundation spans Python, C, C++, JavaScript, and CSS, enabling me to prototype algorithms and sculpt interactive experiences alike.
My technical repertoire includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and YOLO—each explored primarily at a conceptual level—paired with rigorous Exploratory Data Analysis. I also dabble in front‑end development, UI/UX fundamentals, and back‑end engineering, weaving these strands into cohesive digital narratives.
Beyond code, I am driven by curiosity and a commitment to share knowledge, whether through talks, open‑source contributions, or mentoring peers. I continuously seek new challenges that blend theory with tangible design, aiming to turn abstract ideas into polished, high‑impact applications.

Projects

Data Science
Titanic Survival Prediction
The sinking of the Titanic is one of the most infamous shipwrecks in history. This project builds a predictive model that answers: what sorts of people were more likely to survive? — using passenger data (name, age, gender, socio-economic class, etc).

Data Analysis
Unemployment Analysis
This project analyzes and visualizes the unemployment rate across different regions of India during the COVID-19 pandemic to understand the economic impact through interactive charts.

Web Development
Amazon Clone
A pixel-faithful recreation of the Amazon homepage built entirely from scratch using pure HTML and CSS — no frameworks. Goal: master complex layout techniques, responsive design, and UI replication at a professional scale.

Natural Language Processing
NLP Sentiment Analysis
A text classification pipeline that determines whether a movie review carries a positive or negative sentiment. Built as a foundational NLP project to learn core text preprocessing and feature extraction techniques.

Machine Learning
Predict Number of Upvotes
A hackathon challenge to predict the number of upvotes a question will receive on a Q&A platform based on user metrics and question text.
